Have you ever said to yourself…

“I’m so tired of feeling this way.”

“I’m ready for change but feel stuck and exhausted.”

“I need some insight to see my part in this situation.”

“How do I keep repeating the same unhealthy patterns in my relationships?”

Let me help you navigate the story of your life and understand your unique experiences through the therapeutic relationship. Therapy should be holistic, and a blend of therapies unique to you, joined beautifully together to help you gain insight and heal from the past. As you come to better understand yourself and your surroundings in therapy, you will be better able to grow and move forward through life.

While you often demonstrate strength and resilience, at times you need someone to come alongside you in your healing. I desire to be that person for you, creating safety in a judgment-free space. I will help you get to the root of your challenges, finding relief from the painful experiences, leading to long-term change. While honoring the beliefs of each person I counsel, you get to decide how much Christian faith you want to be included in your treatment with me to ensure your values and beliefs are part of your healing.

MY BACKGROUND AND APPROACH

I earned my Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy from Oklahoma Baptist University. My training focused on relationship dynamics and family systems. While in my Master’s program, I found meaning in models like Narrative Family Therapy and Experiential Family Therapy, which work beautifully together to help you gain insight and heal. I utilize aspects of Structural Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Attachment, and Relational Therapy when I design a customized treatment for each client.

After therapy with me, my clients describe feeling empowered by the insight they’ve discovered so they can overcome challenges on their own while identifying their own needs and not simply focusing on pleasing others.

Therapy with me is

  • Challenging

I gently call out inconsistencies or discrepancies in your thoughts or behaviors to encourage self-reflection and growth. I also suggest alternative perspectives to move the therapeutic process forward.

  • Authentic

I will be real, genuine, open, integrated, and authentic during our interactions together.

  • Exploratory

Our sessions will focus on improving your ability to understand yourself and the origins of the issues you face in order to live a more rewarding life and have healthier relationships.

We all want to feel safe and supported in therapy and we also want to see change. I am experienced in working with clients to see the change they desire in their lives in a variety of issues. I focus my practice on working with teens and adults, individually, as couples, or in a family.

FAQs

  • In Oklahoma, LPC stands for Licensed Professional Counselor. This means that I have completed all my education, have passed all the testing required by the Board of Behavioral Health, and completed over 3000 hours of supervised experience to obtain licensure.

  • I am currently in-network with BCBS, Healthchoice, Aetna, United, Healthcare Highways, and WebTPA. If you have other insurance, I would be considered out of network, meaning you would have to pay for the session directly. I am happy to electronically file the necessary paperwork with your insurance, but they will send any portion they cover directly to you.

  • A session with me feels like a meaningful check-in. We’ll start by catching up on any updates since our last meeting, then revisit what we worked on previously, celebrating your wins and exploring any challenges along the way. I aim to create a space that is both lighthearted and genuine, where real conversation can happen. From there, we move into goal-focused, client-led work that supports your growth, builds your confidence, and helps you move toward the changes you want to achieve.

  • I was drawn to becoming a therapist through my deep appreciation for people and meaningful connection. The journey toward comfort, contentment, and peace is lifelong, one I continue to walk myself, and I feel honored to partner with others along the way. My goal is to support you in regaining a sense of control, building confidence, and learning to view yourself with both compassion and accountability.

It’s your turn to get the help you deserve.
