Are you struggling to…
Manage your excessive worry and negative thought patterns?
Resolve conflicts in your relationships?
Remain sober, identify triggers, and follow your relapse prevention plan?
Navigate major life changes like divorce, death, or job loss?
Are you feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure of what comes next? Do you find it hard to make decisions, feel overwhelmed by anxiety, or struggle with constant negative self-talk and feelings of failure? Are you experiencing anger that feels intense or confusing, and you're not sure where it’s coming from?
Life can feel like too much sometimes, and you don’t have to navigate it on your own. I help clients face these challenges head-on, uncover what’s not working, and build real tools that lead to lasting change. Together, we’ll clarify your goals, values, and next steps—whether you're dealing with work, school, relationships, or personal growth.
My clients often come to me feeling stuck, stressed, or disconnected from themselves. In our work together, they begin to shift out of those patterns, regain energy, and reconnect with a sense of purpose. I work especially well with young adults, individuals in recovery, and veterans—people who carry deep resilience, even when they don’t recognize it in themselves just yet. My goal is to create a space where you don’t have to have it all figured out. Whether you're working through identity issues, PTSD, substance use, or you're just trying to find direction, I’ll meet you where you are—with respect, empathy, and practical support.
MY BACKGROUND AND APPROACH
I'm currently earning my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University. I use a grounded, compassionate, and solution-focused approach, drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Narrative Therapy. These models help clients make meaningful changes by understanding their thoughts and stories and reshaping them in powerful ways.
As a problem-focused counselor, I’m here to offer both support and challenge. Clients often leave sessions feeling heard, understood, and equipped with new perspectives they hadn’t considered before. You don’t have to go through this alone. Let’s work together to make sense of what you're going through—and help you move forward with confidence and hope.

As a graduate intern, I am currently in the final stages of my education. I am in a Master’s program and one of the requirements to graduate is to gain 600-700 hours of clinical experience under the supervision of an experienced Licensed Clinician. I meet weekly with both my University and On-Site Supervisors so it’s like you get a treatment team of clinicians reviewing the work we do together to make sure I am giving you the best quality care.
There are benefits of working with a graduate intern clinician that many do not consider. Graduate interns carry smaller caseloads and are energetic and excited as they are learning the most up-to-date training on evidence-based interventions. Graduate Interns are willing to ask questions for help and consultation, which is best practice but rare for even the most experienced clinician. Research shows that the bonds formed, and emotions experienced, along with insight and work done in session, leave many clients reporting a more positive experience with their graduate intern than with their previous experiences with more seasoned therapists.

As a graduate intern, I do not file with insurance. My cash pay rate is $45 per session. I have some reserved spots for sliding scale fees for clients who may need it due to financial hardship.

Sessions with me look and feel like catching up with an old friend. I strive to create an atmosphere where clients feel at home and at ease. Our conversations will be as open and reflective as the client wishes, while also trying to help them learn about themselves and what they truly want out of therapy. My goal is to walk with my clients through their struggles while encouraging and motivating them. I want every client to walk away feeling hopeful and empowered to make the changes they want to see.

In one capacity or another, I have been in a helping profession my whole adult life. As I have learned more about myself over the years, it has become apparent that the root of my passion is helping others achieve their goals, find peace within themselves, or make positive changes. The counseling profession is the most complete profession to accomplish this.
Let me be the support you need.
