Have you ever asked yourself…
Am I the problem in this relationship?
Why am I so overwhelmed all the time?
Why am I not good enough for my partner?
How do I not let my emotions control my life?
My mission is to walk alongside individuals, couples, adults, and teens as they navigate life’s challenges—big or small—while honoring the foundational Christian truths of Scripture. My hope is that everyone who walks through our doors experiences compassionate, attentive care in an environment that promotes safety, healing, and genuine connection. Together, we work to deepen personal insight and build the motivation needed to change what is harming us, whether it’s difficult relationships, feelings of hopelessness, or patterns of addictive behavior.
I have extensive experience working with church staff and ministry leaders, couples who are struggling to rebuild or reconnect, women navigating significant life transitions, and counseling students or new clinicians in training through clinical supervision.
I also understand the vulnerability that comes with sitting on a couch and sharing some of the most painful parts of your story with someone you’ve just met. I don’t take that lightly. As a Christian, I feel called to use the gifts God has given me to help others grow in maturity and emotional health. By working through unhelpful thoughts and behaviors, we can experience a closer relationship with God—one that supports our well-being and brings lasting transformation.
While the word Christian can sometimes bring to mind judgment, clients often tell me they feel safe with me, and I am humbled by that trust. My understanding of Christianity is grounded first in love, and I strive for clients to feel that love in our work together. Love also includes honesty, especially when it comes from a place of sincere care.
Therapy is most effective when we learn to discern what we can control and what we cannot. From that place, we can take an honest look at ourselves and recognize the ways we contribute to the challenges in our lives. My desire is to walk beside each person as they gain insight, take ownership of their growth, and develop into healthier, more whole versions of themselves—while learning to release what was never theirs to carry.

In Oklahoma, every therapist must be supervised for their first 3000 hours of experience. I have received additional training on how to help those clinicians hone their skills so that they can be effective and ethical therapists into licensure. I am approved by the Oklahoma State Board of Behavioral Health to provide this supervision of clinicians who are persuing licensure.

The first four sessions together are us getting to know one another. I think of it as you painting me a picture of all that your life has looked like so far. I think this is necessary to holistically look at the patterns or beliefs in your life that you are wanting to change. Then moving forward, you will get a mixture of empathy, challenge, and sometimes humor as we delve deep into how you became you.

I have been blessed by the support of some great therapists as I’ve walked through the most challenging parts in my life, my relationships, and my faith. I felt a calling from God to fill the gap in the mental health industry to provide effective and ethical counseling from a Christian perspective.
