Do you feel…

Unloveable or unworthy?

Out of control of addictive behaviors?

High levels of anxiety or depression impacting your life and relationships?

Longing for healthier relationships or a stronger sense of self?

Do you desire a deep sense of well-being, goodness, and peace but find those experiences are elusive? No matter how hard you try, you feel anxious, angry, disconnected from the people you love, distant from your own emotions, paralyzed, and exhausted with all the effort. Life can be incredibly difficult at times, and no one should have to face those struggles alone. My goal as a counselor is to create a safe, compassionate space where you feel truly seen, heard, and understood. I believe healing begins when someone feels accepted exactly where they are, so I strive to meet every client with empathy, patience, and respect.

I work with children, teens, and adults who are struggling with relationship issues, feelings of abandonment, low self-worth, anxiety, unhealthy habits, or patterns of self-sabotage. Many of my clients carry deep feelings of being unloved or not good enough, which can lead to painful cycles in relationships and life decisions. Together, we work to break those patterns and build a healthier sense of identity, confidence, and hope for the future.

MY BACKGROUND AND APPROACH

I graduated from University of Kentucky with a Master of Social Work. For clients who desire it, I am also comfortable incorporating faith into the counseling process. I believe that hope, grace, and purpose are powerful parts of healing, and many clients find strength in exploring these areas alongside evidence-based therapeutic tools.

My approach is practical, supportive, and focused on real solutions. I frequently use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), an evidence-based approach that helps clients understand how their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors are connected. I also teach practical tools like coping skills, mindfulness, healthy boundaries, and ways to recognize both personal strengths and areas for growth. These skills help clients build stronger relationships and live more fulfilling lives.

Clients often tell me they feel safe opening up in our sessions. I deeply respect the courage it takes to reach out for help, and I want you to know that showing up is already a powerful first step forward. One of the greatest joys of my work is watching clients begin to believe in themselves again, learning to love who they are, build healthy relationships, and step into the life they were meant to live.

Therapy with me is

  • Safe

Aiming to create an environment where you feel secure, understood, and free to express yourself without fear of judgment or repercussion.

  • Challenging

Gently calling out inconsistencies or discrepancies in your thoughts or behaviors to encourage self-reflection and growth. I also suggest alternative perspectives to move the therapeutic process forward.

  • Holistic

Focusing on the “whole” person and integrates spiritual, physical, mental, and emotional forms of well-being, helping you develop a deeper understanding of yourself on all these levels.

We all want to feel safe and supported in therapy and we also want to see change. I am experienced in working with clients to see the change they desire in their lives in a variety of issues. I focus my practice on working with kids, teens, and adults, individually or in groups.
