Are you struggling…
With the challenges of motherhood, postpartum depression, or postpartum anxiety?
To identify or express your emotions in a way that strengthens your relationships?
To support your kids or help them manage their emotions?
Knowing your values, your strengths, your self-confidence?
Are you a new or expectant mom navigating anxiety or depression?
Have you experienced a painful loss—through death, divorce, or another major transition—and feel unsure how to move forward? Is your child overwhelmed by anxiety, sadness, or anger? If you’re feeling alone in your struggles, you’re not alone. I understand how heavy these moments can feel, and together we can begin building a renewed sense of hope.
I believe that healing grows in a space of genuine compassion. When you experience acceptance with me, you learn to extend that same compassion to yourself. In our work together, I’ll help you uncover your true needs and desires, gain clarity around the challenges you’re facing, and create meaningful, practical steps toward change. I also support children and teens in developing healthy emotional skills and stronger communication, helping your family feel more connected.
MY BACKGROUND AND APPROACH
I hold a Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Oklahoma. My approach is collaborative and holistic, supporting you mentally, emotionally, relationally, physically, and spiritually. I guide you back to the “here and now” through mindfulness and gentle exploration of your present thoughts and feelings. Together, we’ll use grounding techniques that help you stay centered, even when you’re sitting in the uncomfortable “yuck” of life’s hardest moments.
My clients often share that they leave sessions feeling seen, heard, and valued. They describe our work as a compassionate space that encouraged deep self-discovery while offering practical tools that made a real difference in their daily lives.

In Oklahoma, Candidate for Licensure means that I have completed all my education and have passed all the testing required by the Board of Behavioral Health. I describe this similar to a resident in the medical field. All licensed professional therapists in the state of Oklahoma are required to gain 3000 hours of supervised experience before they are able to be considered licensed. I currently meet weekly with a licensed and Board approved supervisor to review my caseload.
There are benefits of working with a graduate intern clinician that many do not consider. Graduate interns carry smaller caseloads and are energetic and excited as they are learning the most up-to-date training on evidence-based interventions. Graduate Interns are willing to ask questions for help and consultation, which is best practice but rare for even the most experienced clinician. Research shows that the bonds formed, and emotions experienced, along with insight and work done in session, leave many clients reporting a more positive experience with their graduate intern than with their previous experiences with more seasoned therapists.

As a candidate for licensure, I can file with BCBS & Aetna Commercial Insurance utilizing Supervisory Billing. My cash pay rate is $125 per session. I have some reserved spots for sliding scale fees for clients who may need it due to financial hardship.
However, our graduate interns are happy to match your insurance copay, so your out-of-pocket cost remains the same as if you were using your insurance. -
A session with me starts by providing a supportive, nonjudgmental environment where the client feels safe to express themselves openly. We’ll explore whatever challenges you are facing, focusing on your unique values as we collaborate toward achieving your goals. My role is to support you in self-exploration as you find your own answers and understanding of yourself.

Becoming a therapist was a decision made after experiencing several challenging times in my life. From losing my mom at a young age to experiencing postpartum depression and anxiety, I truly know what it’s like to feel alone, helpless, and afraid of the future. It was through my own self-exploration and healing relationships with others that I realized my passion for walking with others in their pain. We all experience challenges in life, and I desire to help others feel less alone.
Let me be the support you need.
