Have you ever thought these…
Why do I overthink everything?
My relationships keep ending up the same way?
I feel overwhelmed all the time?
I just want to feel like myself again?
Whether you're navigating relationship conflict, healing from past hurts, managing anxiety, or adjusting to the challenges of divorce, you don't have to face it alone. As a graduate counseling intern, I am passionate about supporting teens, adults, and couples as they work toward healing, growth, and meaningful change.
I believe therapy should be a place where you feel genuinely heard, understood, and accepted without judgment. My goal is to create a warm, safe environment where you can openly share your experiences, explore life's challenges, and build the confidence to move forward.
MY BACKGROUND AND APPROACH
I am currently pursuing my Masters Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Liberty University. My approach is collaborative and tailored to your unique needs. I integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Narrative Therapy, Mindfulness, and Person-Centered Therapy to help clients identify unhelpful thought patterns, develop healthy coping strategies for anxiety and stress, increase self-awareness and emotional regulation, strengthen self-esteem, establish healthy relationship boundaries, process difficult experiences, and recognize their own resilience. Together, we'll work to reframe unhelpful narratives, set realistic goals, and take practical steps toward lasting change. For clients who desire it, I am also confident incorporating faith into the counseling process. I value each person's beliefs and can thoughtfully integrate spiritual perspectives alongside evidence-based therapeutic approaches in a way that aligns with your goals and values.
Clients often come to therapy feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, relationship difficulties, or unresolved pain from the past. Through our work together, many begin to better understand themselves, discover their strengths, communicate more effectively, and build healthier, more fulfilling relationships. My hope is that you leave each session feeling supported, empowered, and equipped with the tools to create the life and relationships you desire.

As a graduate intern, I am currently in the final stages of my education. I am in a Master’s program and one of the requirements to graduate is to gain 600-700 hours of clinical experience under the supervision of an experienced Licensed Clinician. I meet weekly with both my University and On-Site Supervisors so it’s like you get a treatment team of clinicians reviewing the work we do together to make sure I am giving you the best quality care.
There are benefits of working with a graduate intern clinician that many do not consider. Graduate interns carry smaller caseloads and are energetic and excited as they are learning the most up-to-date training on evidence-based interventions. Graduate Interns are willing to ask questions for help and consultation, which is best practice but rare for even the most experienced clinician. Research shows that the bonds formed, and emotions experienced, along with insight and work done in session, leave many clients reporting a more positive experience with their graduate intern than with their previous experiences with more seasoned therapists.

As a graduate intern, I do not file with insurance. My cash pay rate is $45 per session. I have some reserved spots for sliding scale fees for clients who may need it due to financial hardship.

I strive to create a warm, welcoming space where you can feel comfortable being yourself. My hope is that each session feels like a place where you are heard, valued, and understood without judgment. I believe there is something powerful about sharing your story with another person. Often, healing begins when we no longer carry our struggles alone.
My approach is grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). Together, we will explore the thoughts, beliefs, experiences, and life stories that have shaped you. We will work to identify unhelpful patterns, build practical coping skills, and uncover strengths that may have been overlooked along the way. Whether you are facing anxiety, depression, relationship concerns, or a difficult season of life, I want our work together to help you move toward greater confidence, and healing.

My desire to become a therapist grew from my experiences as a teacher. While working with children, parents, and colleagues, I witnessed how many people silently carried anxiety, depression, stress, self-doubt, and emotional pain. I saw how deeply people wanted to be understood and supported, yet many felt alone in their struggles.
Those experiences inspired me to pursue counseling. I believe every person has value, and everyone deserves a space where they can share their story, process life's challenges, and discover hope. It is a privilege to walk alongside people during difficult seasons and help them recognize their strengths, resilience, and capacity for growth.
Let me be the support you need.
