Do you feel…
I’m too messy, complicated, or too much for others to handle?
Alone managing family struggles including adoption and foster care?
Deep grief due to loss of a child?
Worthless and undeserving of love?
Do you often feel anxious, emotionally exhausted, or unsure of your worth? Have you ever heard yourself say “I’m too much” or “too complicated” or my life is “too messy”? Are you ready to break old patterns and heal what has been ignored for so long? I’m especially passionate about working with you to be a safe place to heal, be understood, and learn you were never too much to begin with. I will help you feel more connected, emotionally steady, hopeful, and confident.
I specialize in trauma and complex trauma, family-of-origin wounds, anxiety, people-pleasing, boundary setting, identity and self-worth struggles, parenting stress, and rebuilding after difficult seasons of life. I also love supporting foster and adoptive families, special needs families, grief, and family conflict. I’m trained in wraparound care, protective factors, and completed a year-long training program focused on supporting survivors of narcissistic abuse.
MY BACKGROUND AND APPROACH
I hold a Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy from Mid-America Christian University. My approach combines evidence-based methods like CBT, attachment-focused therapy, and family systems work in a way that feels practical, relational, and human. Together, we work to understand patterns, regulate emotions without shutting down, rewrite old narratives, and create healthier relationships. For clients who desire it, I can also thoughtfully integrate issues of faith and spirituality into the counseling process.
Clients often describe me as steady, compassionate, genuine, and unafraid of the hard stories. I consider it an honor to walk alongside people as they rediscover their voice, their worth, and the possibility of healing. Clients often come to therapy feeling anxious, emotionally exhausted, disconnected, or unsure of their worth. Through our work together, they begin to understand their patterns, regulate emotions without shutting down, build healthier relationships, and rewrite old narratives that no longer serve them. Over time, many clients find themselves feeling more emotionally steady, hopeful, confident, and able to respond to life with intention instead of fear.

In Oklahoma, Candidate for Licensure means that I have completed all my education and have passed all the testing required by the Board of Behavioral Health. I describe this similar to a resident in the medical field. All licensed professional therapists in the state of Oklahoma are required to gain 3000 hours of supervised experience before they are able to be considered licensed. I currently meet weekly with a licensed and Board approved supervisor to review my caseload.

As a candidate for licensure, I can file with BCBS & Aetna Commercial Insurance utilizing Supervisory Billing. My cash pay rate is $125 per session. I have some reserved spots for sliding scale fees for clients who may need it due to financial hardship.
However, our graduate interns are happy to match your insurance copay, so your out-of-pocket cost remains the same as if you were using your insurance. -
A session with me feels like stepping into a space where you don’t have to perform, explain, or shrink yourself. I show up as a real human, grounded, warm, and fully present. I’m not the therapist who sits back silently and nods; I’m engaged, curious, and collaborative. Sessions with me blend compassion, humor, faith-rooted hope, and real-life strategies because life is messy, and therapy should make room for that.

I became a therapist because I know what it feels like to need someone who can sit with the hard things without flinching. I’ve seen the gap, and I’ve lived the gaps. And I’ve felt the impact of what happens when someone finally shows up with presence, not judgment. I wanted to become the kind of therapist who offers that same presence, someone who sees the whole person, honors their dignity, and helps them reclaim the parts of their story that were never meant to be theirs to carry.
It’s your turn to get the help you deserve.
